SAN JOAQUIN ASPARAGUS FESTIVAL SCHOLARSHIP PAGEANT & PRINCESS PROGRAM
Thank you for your interest in the San Joaquin Asparagus Festival Scholarship Pageant & Princess Program!
We are excited to invite you to participate! You have the exciting opportunity to be a QUEEN or PRINCESS of the fair and represent one of the most prestigious community events in the greater San Joaquin region. The three queens crowned at the pageant will serve as the Official Hostesses of the 37th Annual San Joaquin Asparagus Festival, which will be held on April 14-16, 2023.
This program was established in 2016 to give girls and women of all ages the unique opportunity to learn and grow from the exciting experience of positive pageantry!
Our Three Key Goals are as follows:
- Offer educational scholarships
- Provide leadership training & personal development
- Promote positive pageantry, community pride
& appreciation of local agriculture
Our Program Values represent our guiding principles and include:

- Kindness – we are friendly, generous and considerate of others

Open to females ages 13 and older. Your age and marital status as of April 1st determines your age division as follows:
• NEW FOR 2023! Teen Division for ages 13-15
• Miss Division for ages 16-20 (unmarried, without children)
• NEW FOR 2023! Ms. Division for ages 20+ (any marital or maternal status)

NEW Princess Program – Sunday April 16, 2023
Open to ages 12 and under. Your age as of April 1st determines your age division as follows:
• NEW FOR 2023! Princess Division for ages 9 and under
• NEW FOR 2023! Mini Miss Division for ages 10-12
This is a recreational, NON-competitive program. ALL participants earn a tiara and sash!
